Cavaliers vs. Magic Spread Prediction

The Cavaliers take a lot of three-pointers and make a league-average amount, but struggle to defend from beyond the arc.
The Magic take almost none and make even fewer, but defend it well.
Orlando’s inability to shoot means the Magic need to get to the rim, and that’s a strength of the Cavaliers.
The Cavs’ baseline offense should be enough to get this win as they continue to pursue homecourt advantage in the first and second rounds of the playoffs.
I’ll lay the points with Cleveland tonight.

Raptors vs. Pelicans ATS Pick

Expect the Pelicans' turnovers to create some easy points for the Raptors in this game.
The Raptors' ball pressure is a little tough for the Pelicans ball-handlers, especially with Dejounte Murray coming off a major injury in just his seventh game back, and Jeremiah Fears still a rookie.
That edge in the creation of easy buckets should be enough to earn Toronto the win and cover.

Jabari Smith has excelled in this matchup.
Smith has recorded 32, 26, and 32 points & rebounds against Denver this season, while recording a double-double in each game.
All of those games were with Steven Adams, who typically makes things tougher for Jabari spacing-wise as well.
The key for Jabari against Denver is he’s a strong spot-up shooter, and that’s one of the primary weaknesses in Denver’s defense.
Jabari is averaging 23.5 points & rebounds over his last 15 games, and I expect him to continue his string of strong performances in this one.
