The Sacramento Kings head East to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Saturday night. Domantas Sabonis (36% opening tip win rate) will face off against Rudy Gobert (74% win rate) on the opening tip-off. These two centers have not faced off on an opening tip-off over the past two seasons.

There is chance Gobert (groin injury) sits out tonight as this is the second night of a back-to-back set for the Timberwolves. In the event he is out, Naz Reid (57% win rate) would jump for Minnesota. Regardless of who starts for Minnesota, I would expect the Timberwolves to win the tip.

The Timberwolves score first in 59% of games while the Kings score first in 49% of games. Gobert and Anthony Edwards lead the way for Minnesota in terms of scoring first, as they each have cashed a first basket bet eight times this season. More recently, Kyle Anderson has been hot, scoring the first team field goal in five of the last ten games.

The Kings have given up the first opposing team field goal to the opposing center or shooting guard in 52% of games this season. This lines up well for Edwards. I can make the case for playing Gobert as well, but prefer to play Edwards and Anderson's the hot hand instead.
