The Denver Nuggets, on the heels of a historic first-round series that went seven games, are rewarded with No. 2 seed in the West as their second round opponent. The Nuggets have very little time to enjoy the Game 7 win, much to the dismay of point guard Jamal Murray.
"We play Thursday?!" @BeMore27 was pretty bummed when @notthefakeSVP told him the Nuggets play again in two days 😂 pic.twitter.com/moJMqhF6K5

Oddsmakers apparently weren't fazed by Murray's heroics in Games 5-7, nor were they deterred by the Clippers' struggles with containing Luka Doncic. The Clips enter this series as -950 favorites ahead of Game 1 and have +200 odds to close things out on five games. They are expected to welcome back point guard Patrick Beverley, who has been dealing with a left calf strain since the start of the postseason.
