Tyus Jones Points + Rebounds + Assists
|Prop||Jones Over 24.5 PRA (-106)|
|Matchup||Grizzlies vs. Warriors|

The life of a backup point guard in the NBA is akin to that of a backup quarterback in the NFL. When the starter misses extended periods of time, your job is to come in and toe the line, to preserve team continuity.
It’s exactly what Tyus Jones has done for the Grizzlies this season, in the absence of Ja Morant.
Memphis has put up a 19-5 record in Jones’ starts. In those 24 games, Jones registered 26.6 PRA on a per-36 minute basis. With Game 5 serving as an elimination game for the Grizzlies, coach Taylor Jenkins is likely to lean on his point guard for another 40-plus minutes.
The Warriors defense is, of course, one of the NBA’s best. However, they have struggled at times against point guards. While the Duke product is most definitely not going to garner Morant-type usage or production, he will be up against a Warriors defense that allowed the seventh-highest percentage of total PRA to opposing point guards.
Tonight, I have the Duke product projected at 28 PRA.
Pick: Jones Over 24.5 PRA (-110) | Play to Over 25.5
