The man they call Scary Terry has been playing some of his best basketball of late. Over his last 12 games, Rozier is averaging 24.2 points, eclipsing this total in nine of 12 of those contests. His only misses were a 5-point dud against the stellar defense of the Heat, and two poor shooting nights against the Celtics and Bucks.

Rozier’s point production has been somewhat of a barometer to the Hornets’ team success. In fact, in Charlotte’s last 25 wins, Rozier is averaging 25 points per game, and has reached at least 22 points in 22 of those victories. Even though using team wins as part of a trend is a bit backwards, the stars align for another big Rozier performance tonight.

The lowly Thunder host the Hornets tonight on the second leg of a back-to-back. Oklahoma City’s defense bleeds three pointers, allowing the third-most attempts and the fourth-most makes per game. Rozier has been on fire from behind the arc of late, shooting 42% over his last 12 games, while averaging almost four makes per contest.

As double-digit favorites, not only do I expect the Hornets to control this game, but for Rozier to once again lead the way. I have the Louisville product projected at 25 points tonight.

Pick: Terry Rozier over 21.5 points. Playable to over 22.5.
