Andrew Wiggins PRAs
|Prop||Under 23.5 PRAs|
|Matchup||Bucks at Warriors|
|Time||8:30 p.m. ET|
Like most of the Warriors, Wiggins’ production has taken a hit with the return of Klay Thompson. Averaging 25.1 PRA without his Splash Brother teammate, Wiggins PRA output drops to 21.5 in games that Thompson has played. He’s stayed under this line in 14 of 21 of those games.
On Saturday night, the first-time All-Star is likely to be checked by either Khris Middleton or Giannis Antetokounmpo defensively. The Bucks length and athleticism should make life difficult for Wiggins when attacking the rim. In fact, Wiggins’ career 40% shooting against the Bucks is the third-lowest field goal percentage against any team.
And when the Kansas product is on the defensive end, he’ll have his hands full, likely guarding either Middleton or Antetokounmpo. In these tougher defensive matchups, Wiggins tends to allow his teammates to focus more on rebounding.
In a primetime, nationally televised game, it’s easy to see both Thompson and Steph Curry take the reins of the Warriors offense, especially with the former seeing his minutes tick upwards. As the third option offensively, I have Wiggins projected at 20 PRA tonight.
Pick: Andrew Wiggins under 23.5 points, rebounds and assists (-106 at FanDuel). Under 15.5 points or under 18.5 points and assists also playable.
