Marcus Smart Points + Assists
|Prop||Over 18.5 PAs|
|Matchup||Celtics at Hornets|

It took a few weeks for this Celtics team to find its footing, but Boston is now one of the hottest teams in the NBA. While their success can of course be attributed to the continued strong play of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Smart’s resurgence can’t be ignored.
The 8-year veteran continues to be a vital piece of the puzzle for the Celtics. Even when suiting up next to both Brown and Tatum, Smart has hit this line in 13 of the last 16 games he’s seen at least 26 minutes, averaging 15 points and 6.4 assists over that span.
The Hornets play fast, to the tune of the second-highest pace in the league. This has lead to some gaudy numbers for Charlotte’s opponents, including the second-most three pointers, the second-most assists, and the seventh-most fast break points per game.
All this should lead to a plus matchup for the longest-tenured Celtic.
Smart should have no issue blowing past this line, with the Celtics implied at 116 points tonight. I have the Oklahoma State product projected at 22 points + assists.
Pick: Marcus Smart over 18.5 points and assists (-125). Playable to over 19.5.
