Gray has been a tackle machine this year, though he’s only cleared 8.5 in half his games. That’s mostly a reflection of his schedule..he’s faced several teams that rank below average in LB tackle opportunities. The only two times he’s faced teams in the top half of that metric were against Houston (17 tackles) and Arizona (12 tackles), and the Chargers fall right in that same range. With Jeffery Simmons out, there’s also a boost for Gray since Simmons’ absence should allow a few more runs to reach the second level, where Gray typically lines up directly behind him. That gives him a notable uptick in my tackle model. I’m projecting 10.1 tackles here with about a 65% chance to clear 8.5. I’ll also be sprinkling the 12+ tackles alt at +344 (fair price closer to +220), since he’s hit that mark in both of his other plus tackle matchups this season.

Ladd has been on a tear, averaging 7.3 receptions per game over his last three while leading the Chargers in targets in all three. But that stretch also came with 39.3 pass attempts per game from Justin Herbert, including a 55-attempt game against the Colts. This week sets up differently. The Chargers should be able to lean on Kimani Vidal and the run game as favorites, which likely means less passing volume overall. It’s also the first time in McConkey’s two-year career that the offense has a real target threat at TE in Oronde Gadsden II, and Quentin Johnston is due for a bounce-back after two quiet games. If the Chargers were projected to throw for 60 minutes, Ladd could absolutely clear this again, but this game script points toward fewer attempts and more balance. I’m projecting him closer to 5.1 receptions with about a 59% chance to stay under 5.5.

Kimani Vidal Longest Rush over 15.5 yds (-112 at FD) Vidal has been a revelation for the Chargers after losing RBs Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris. In his 3 starts, Vidal has run for 261 yards, including 5 runs clearing this 15.5 line on 50 attempts for a 10% rate That's including carries that couldn't even go for 16+ yards as they came from 15 yards or less from the goal line. If we remove those, it's 5 on 38 carries (13.2%) Meanwhile, the Titans allow an explosive run rate even worse than the average of Vidal's three opponents The Chargers are nearly double-digit favorites, which should give Vidal plenty of volume to work with At 17 projected carries, even if just 75% of those come from 16+ yards away from the goal line I'm projecting a ~61% chance he clears 15.5 yards for his longest run.

We're just gonna keep betting running back touchdowns against Tennessee until it stops being profitable. The Titans appear to be leaning into the tank. This team was already dead last by DVOA, and now Tennessee traded away its best corner, Roger McCreary, and listed about half of the rest of its defensive starters on the injury report. Tennessee's defense has been awful all season. The Titans have allowed the opposing RB1 to reach the end zone in all eight games this season — a perfect 100% hit rate. Kimani Vidal has a touchdown in both Chargers wins since taking the lead role, and he ran much better with Joe Alt back in the lineup last week. Vidal is an unknown, but he's the only RB the Chargers have to offer at this point, so +100 for an Anytime TD feels ludicrous (Fanatics). It's probably worth playing 2+ TDs at +500 (DraftKings) since the Titans have allowed that to three RBs already, and 3+ at +2200 (DraftKings) in case Vidal goes full Jonathan Taylor and matches what he's done twice against Tennessee already.
