THE BLITZ is forecasting 11.83 rush attempts for Chase Brown compared to 15.05 rush attempts implied by sportsbooks, so I believe there is some value here. If you take the under, you’d be projected to win 74% of the time, resulting in a 39% ROI. Based on a $100 wager, the expected value here would be $44.34. This play is good down to at least -180. Nothing too interesting here, I just think it’s a bad number. Al-Shaair only cleared 8.5 tackles + assists in 20% of his (full) games last year. Houston should face more overall volume after getting shredded by Buffalo last week, but Cincinnati is a worse matchup for LB tackles. The Bills are one of the better offenses for feeding linebackers opportunities, while the Bengals should pull his tackle rate back down. I have Al-Shaair closer to 7.7 tackles + assists with around a 62% chance to stay under 8.5. Sometimes the boring ones are the best ones. (Was considering Barrett Carter Over 7.5. Can parlay that or use as a 2 pack on PrizePicks since the two correlate nicely)

Instead of messing with the spread, I'm going back to Old Faithful: fading the Bengals defense with a tight end. Cincinnati allowed the most tight end fantasy points in the league in each of the last two seasons, and we are going right back to the well with Dalton Schultz. Schultz is a target monster for Houston. He saw eight targets last week and has been second in targets behind only Nico Collins the last two years. I liked this prop before the news that Collins was dealing with a hamstring issue, and now I love it even more. Schultz is C.J. Stroud’s security blanket, and he should feast on these bad Cincinnati linebackers. Unlike last week's Cade Otton play, Schultz is a fantastic median outcome target. He had three or more catches in all but two games last year, meaning his floor is just one catch away from hitting this standard over. The Bengals allowed four catches to a tight end 14 times last year and five catches 10 times. Schultz hit six catches in 35% of his games last season, including games with 7, 7, 8, and 9 receptions. The Bengals allowed 8+ TE catches five times the last two seasons, including two 10s. We're taking this escalator all the way to the top.

There is a value opportunity on David Montgomery's rush attempts prop. THE BLITZ is projecting him to record 13.85 rush attempts, while sportsbooks imply 17.67. The model believes there is a 74% chance he records fewer than 16.5 rush attempts, so there is some value on the under at -114. This play is good down to at least -179. Love THE BLITZ? THE BLITZ is forecasting 23.17 completions for C.J. Stroud. The oddsmakers' implied projection is 19.31 completions, so I believe there is some value here. If you take the over, you’d be projected to win 68% of the time resulting in a 50% ROI with expected value of $49.64 (based on a $100 wager). This play is good down to at least -146. Love THE BLITZ?
