There is a value opportunity on Caleb Williams's completions prop. THE BLITZ is projecting him to record 16.95 completions, while sportsbooks imply 19.59. The model believes there is a 73% chance he records fewer than 19.5 completions, so there is some value on the under at -110. This play is good down to at least -172.

With Jordan Mason placed on IR Aaron Jones will be the lead back for Minnesota and I’m expecting him to be heavily involved.
In the only game without Mason last season he saw 18 of the 25 RB carries & his current rush attempts line sits at 15.5. With that much volume expected, I believe his 13.5 longest rush line is a bit too low, especially in a great matchup vs Chicago who since 2025 have allowed:
• Highest Rush Success% (55.7%)
• Highest YBC/ATT (2.64)
• 3rd Highest YPC (5.04)
• 5th Highest Explosive Run% (14.1%)
This week Coach Kevin O’Connell talked about being more efficient in the run game & generating more explosives, which I think is very likely to happen given the matchup.

Oliver went 2/22/0 in Week 1 but could’ve easily finished with 3-4 catches. He was targeted on 4 of 9 routes, a ridiculous 44% target rate, and actually led the team with a 26% first-read rate. So Wentz was clearly looking his way, and the 50% catch rate came in well below his 73% expected catch rate.
With potential rain/wind, I could see Wentz leaning on Oliver underneath again. Jauan Jennings being out could also push them into more 12 personnel rather than simply giving all of his snaps to Tai Felton/Myles Price, which would create more routes for Oliver.
I have him closer to 1.9 receptions with around a 60% chance to clear 1.5.

I really wanted to take the Bears team total over. Ben Johnson's offenses absolutely shred Brian Flores' defenses, pinpointing the weak spot left open by the blitz. In nine matchups against Flores, Johnson's offenses are averaging 28.0 points per game, eclipsing that number six times.
However, the Vikings have won 8 of their last 10 against the Bears, including six straight in Chicago. Add in 15 mph winds and a total that has already inflated by three or four since the weekend, and I have to pass.
But I still want some piece of an over in a Bears game, so I will just target the best wide receiver on the planet: Justin Jefferson.
It is amazing how Jefferson magically became great again the second J.J. McCarthy was exiled to the moon.
Jefferson averages an NFL-record 90 yards per game in his career. In 10 games with McCarthy, he averaged 54 yards. With literally everyone else? 95 yards per game.
It looks like Carson Wentz should start this week, and Jefferson has hit the over on this line in all six games with Wentz, commanding a 32% target share and 44% of the air yards.
The Bears allowed 74+ yards to a receiver 13 times last year, then twice last week against Carolina. Keep it simple.

There is a value opportunity on Kyle Monangai's receiving yards prop. THE BLITZ is projecting him to record 8.00 receiving yards, while sportsbooks imply 14.60. The model believes there is a 70% chance he records fewer than 10.5 receiving yards, so there is some value on the under at -114. This play is good down to at least -156.

Last week, everyone went off for the Bears last week except Loveland who did not have a catch on two targets, disappointing many prop bettors and fantasy owners. However, I am buying the bounce back here. Brian Flores is going to send a ton of blitzes at Caleb Williams. If he has to get the ball out quickly, he’ll be looking for his TE early and often as a safety valve. That should help Loveland get 50 yards.
