  • Below you'll find our complete PLAYERS Championship betting coverage, including odds, picks and sleepers for the tournament.

The 2020 PLAYERS Championship gets underway on Thursday, March 12th at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

TPC Sawgrass measures at 7,250 yards for a par 72. It’s tough to overpower the course because doglegs and water limit where players can drive the ball. The course also boasts one of the most iconic holes in golf, the par-3 17th.

The PLAYERS features the deepest field in golf and the odds are headlined by tournament favorite Rory McIlroy at +700 ($10 bet wins $70). McIlroy is the only competitor with single-digit odds and is one of three players, along with Jon Rahm (+1200) and Justin Thomas (+1500), listed under +2000.

As usual, we’ve covered this week’s PGA TOUR event from all angles. Check out all of our betting coverage for the 2020 PLAYERS Championship below:

2020 PLAYERS Championship Betting Picks

Even though Rory McIlroy took down this tournament last year, longshots have had some success at TPC Sawgrass in the recent past. Our staff outlines their favorite sleeper picks, as well as their favorite prop bet and matchup play for the PLAYERS. Read more here.

Instead of backing one of the big guns near the top of the board, Josh Perry is focusing most of his attention on the likes of Shane Lowry and a few other players in the mid-tier. Check out Josh’s betting card here.

Veteran golf oddsmaker Jeff Sherman recently told Jason Sobel that he thinks Patrick Cantlay is the most undervalued player in golf. Naturally, Sobel likes Cantlay’s chances this week. Whether you’re looking for an outright pick, a one-and-done selection or a DFS underdog, Sobel’s PLAYERS preview has it all.

The PGA TOUR Live Featured Groups for Round 1 are dripping with drama. Brooks vs. Rory vs. Rahm. The Young Guns. Scott vs. Xander vs. Rose. These groups will be fun to watch and even more fun to bet. Jason Sobel handicaps the featured group 3-balls.

With such a deep field, there’s bound to be some value down the board. Jason Sobel ranks the top-25 outright values at the 2020 PLAYERS Championship.
