  • Wednesday's seven-game NBA slate features four player prop bets offering value
  • The piece will focus on Wizards C Thomas Bryant, Mavericks PG Jalen Brunson, Hornets G Nicolas Batum, and Kings PF Marvin Bagley

Wednesday’s four best NBA player props focus on three of the slate’s seven games:

  • Washington Wizards at Milwaukee Bucks: 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
  • Charlotte Hornets at Dallas Mavericks: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Houston Rockets at Sacramento Kings: 10 p.m. ET

As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.

All odds as of 4:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. As always, shop for the best number.

Wizards C Thomas Bryant

The Pick: Under 5.5 rebounds (-135)

Bryant provided some solid minutes for the Wizards earlier this season but has officially returned to a reserve role. He’s played 19.1 minutes or less in each of his past three games and has tallied four rebounds or fewer in each of those contests.

It’s going to be very difficult for him to hit the over on his rebounding prop is such limited minutes vs. the Bucks, who have been the sixth-best rebounding team in the league this season.

The prop market has not adjusted to Bryant’s new role, which is creating a lot of value with this line. I like the under up to -165.

Mavericks PG Jalen Brunson

The Pick: Under 10.5 points (-135)

Brunson figures to be one of the biggest losers from the Mavericks-Knicks trade. He had played at least 32 minutes in each of his past two games for the shorthanded Mavs, but he’ll likely return to a minimal role with Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee expected to make their debuts.

Brunson is currently projected for just nine minutes in our NBA Models, and he played 10 minutes or fewer in the three games prior to the trade being made.

It’s hard to score points when you’re not on the court, so I’m willing to play this bet up to -180.

Hornets G Nicolas Batum

The Pick: Over 3.5 assists (+115)

Batum has not been a great distributor recently, handing out three assists or fewer in seven of his past eight games, but there are reasons for optimism with him on today’s slate.

The Hornets will be without Tony Parker, and Batum has increased his usage rate by 4.1% with Parker out of the lineup this season. The result is an average of 4.1 assists in those contests, which makes this bet appealing at better than even money.

This bet looks like a value at anything better than +100.

Kings PF Marvin Bagley

The Pick: Over 8.5 rebounds (-115)

Bagley has had impressive moments for the Kings as a rookie and is finally starting to see significant playing time. He’s logged at least 28 minutes in five of his past six games and has pulled down at least nine rebounds in all of them.

He’s also played at least 30.5 minutes in each of his past two games, and his playing time only figures to increase as the season progresses. He has a nice matchup today vs. the Rockets, who rank just 25th in rebound rate this season and are still without their top rebounder in Clint Capela.

The Kings made a colossal mistake by passing on Luka Doncic with the second pick of the draft, but Bagley isn’t an awful consolation prize. I like this bet up to -140.
