Trail Blazers vs. Cavaliers
By Chris Prince
Tyson should continue to play a bigger role with all of the injuries for the Cavs, and this number feels too low for his current role.
The Cavs will once again be without Jarrett Allen, Sam Merrill, and Larry Nance Jr., and even with Lonzo Ball expected back, the minutes should still be there for Tyson.
He has shown he can go over this line via points alone, with 17+ points in six of his last 13 games (and a season-high 27 points last time out).
He is also a very capable rebounder, averaging nearly seven boards per game over his last six games.
Pick: Jaylon Tyson Over 16.5 Points & Rebounds (-115)
Heat vs. Mavericks
By Joe Dellera
The Heat face off against the Mavericks on Wednesday night, and this is a rematch from about a week ago.
Tyler Herro just returned for Miami, and it has definitely impacted the flow of the offense to a degree.
One of the players that contributes the most to how Miami’s offense runs is Davion Mitchell.
Mitchell is clearly the lead distributor for the Heat, and can set the tone for the offense.
The last time these two teams played, it was Herro’s first game back, and I think it took a little bit of time for Miami to figure out how to make that work again.
In that game, Mitchell only had four assists on 10 potentials.
In the three games since, he’s recorded 9, 10, and 12 dimes.
The Mavericks have inserted Ryan Nembhard into their starting lineup as well.
I think that this is just a little bit faster of a game, and it’s a better positional matchup for Mitchell as well.
Couple that with the fact that he just saw this defense a week ago, and I would expect improvement on his end.
Pick: Davion Mitchell Over 6.5 Assists (-110)
Spurs vs. Magic
We cashed this one easily last time out, and I'm going right back to it.
Jones converted all six of his potential assists, but missed both of his shots and didn't record a rebound.
He continues to operate in a low-usage, minimal-upside role.
It will probably take something like a 2-for-2 performance from beyond the arc or another super-efficient assist game to beat us here.
Pick: Tyus Jones Under 9.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)
Hornets vs. Knicks
By Joe Dellera
I would be stunned if Mitchell Robinson plays for the Knicks in tonight's matchup against the Hornets.
Robinson hasn't played both games in any back-to-back set so far this season.
Karl-Anthony Towns has gone over this line in five of six games without Robinson in the lineup, with his lone miss ringing in at 11 rebounds.
