While this game should’ve been an intriguing matchup between LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook versus Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, the pandemic has reared its ugly head to take that away from us.
Three of those players will miss this contest. Durant is on the COVID-19 protocol list. Davis has a knee injury. And Irving is on the COVID-19 list, too, and hasn’t played in a game all season due to his insistence on remaining unvaccinated.
Due to these developments, the public has been hammering the Lakers’ spread.
