The Kansas City Chiefs are favored against either the San Francisco 49ers or the Los Angeles Rams, according Super Bowl lookahead lines posted by Caesars on Monday.
The Chiefs, fresh off an overtime thriller against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round, are consensus +125 favorites to win it all and 7-point favorites in the AFC Championship Game against the Bengals (check real-time NFL odds here).
All four potential matchups are projected to be tight in the betting market, as you'd hope a Super Bowl would be. If favorites prevail, the Chiefs would meet the Rams in Los Angeles as 1.5-point favorites with the highest potential total of 52.
If the Chiefs get by the Bengals and the 49ers beat the Rams, Kansas City is an early 2.5-point favorite over San Francisco.
Of course, the Bengals will have something to say about this. Already having upset the No. 1 seed in the AFC in the Tennessee Titans, the Bengals are building confidence under quarterback Joe Burrow. The Bengals beat the Chiefs in Week 17, 34-31, so Cincinnati is a formidable challenge to the Chiefs.
If the Bengals upset the Chiefs, they're set to be underdogs vs. either NFC team.
The Bengals opened as 3.5-point dogs to the Rams and 1.5-point dogs to the 49ers on lookahead lines.
