Doug Ziefel

Doug is a college football, college basketball and MLB contributor at the Action Network. He produces content centered around actionable advice with the goal of helping readers become better bettors. He studied journalism at Rutgers and has previously covered the New York Mets, Indianapolis Colts, and Mid-Atlantic region for Perfect Game.

Doug joined the Action Network in the fall of 2021 as a contributor to both college football and college basketball, and later joined the MLB vertical as a contributor as well. He got his start covering amateur baseball for Perfect Game. He later wrote for multiple websites where he covered the New York Mets and Indianapolis Colts. Prior to writing for the Action Network, he was an avid user of the Action App, where he learned through the content and tools provided to become a better bettor.

Doug graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies.
