As someone who specializes in data visualization of probabilities, power ratings, and head-to-head matchups, Collin’s work within the college football space powers the Action Network’s PRO projections throughout the college football season, and has done so since the birth of the app in 2017.
Collin contributes similarly to the college basketball vertical, and his passion for predictive analytics have led him to become a key force in finding betting edges in more niche markets such as professional wrestling and entertainment awards.
Prior to joining Action Network in 2018, Collin had featured college football content with The Athletic while maintaining a career in software consulting.

Collin has a BA and Masters in Computer Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Collin has supported the Kansas City Royals since before he could walk, growing up in Arkansas just a few hours away from Kauffman Stadium. In 2014, the Royals faced Jon Lester and the Athletics in the AL Wild Card game. Collin decided to wager 8 grand to cover the cost of his family seats behind the Royals dugout. The A's had a commanding lead late in the game before Salvador Perez painted the 3rd base line giving Kansas City the win, and an emotional and financial win for Collin.
Most Heartbreaking Bet
As sketched by Action Network with DraftKings in 2020, Collin left his grandmothers birthday party at Chili's when Cincinnati came back to beat Duke in the 2012 Belk Bowl. Collin had a sizable wager, and Duke's lead in the game helped Collin converse with 20 family members to celebrate the 79th birthday of his beloved grandmother. When Travis Kelce his the explosive touchdown, Collin threw a $100 bill on the table and left his family instantly.
