Royals vs Yankees F5 Pick
By Doug Ziefel
The Royals' lineup has been dormant in this series when compared to the output we've seen from the Yankees. However, while New York's lineup has finally come to life, the same can't be expected for Kansas City in this series finale.
This matchup is a tale of two starters trending in opposite directions as Ryan Weathers has been nasty, but unlucky. Meanwhile, Cole Ragans is not the same pitcher we saw when he first burst on the scene a few seasons ago.
Ragans' struggles are going to prove costly in a hurry against a New York lineup that is beginning to find its groove.
Look for the Yankees to give Weathers the run support he's owed as they cover the run line halfway through this matchup.

Pick: Yankees F5 -0.5 (-102 or Better)
Dodgers vs Rockies Over/Under Prediction
Our own Sean Zerillo offers a great edge on the total for this afternoon's matchup.
While the consensus line sits at 11.5, Zerillo projects it at 12.19 for this game, representing a 3.4% edge against the market and a C+ grade in our system.
Also, the number of bets and percentage of money show increasing support for this option.

The problem begins at the mound today. Both starters have had an awful start to the season, and Coors Field won't help them at all.
Only one of Roki Sasaki's three outings for the Dodgers in 2026 has been truly horrific (six earned runs in five innings against the Nationals), but the main issue is his control.
The Japanese pitcher has already issued 10 walks in 13 innings total, and in his previous start against the Rangers, he walked five batters.
While Sasaki is still an unfulfilled promise, Michael Lorenzen is who he is. The 34-year-old pitcher has a 4.15 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP in his MLB career, but is now a part of the Rockies rotation, with an 8.10 ERA and a concerning 1.85 WHIP so far in 2026.
Pick: Over 11.5 (-114 or Better)
Padres vs Angels Prop Pick
By Derek Carty
There is a value opportunity on Michael King's strikeouts prop.
THE BAT X is projecting the Padres starter to record 4.78 strikeouts, while oddsmakers are implying 5.71.
The model believes there is a 65% chance he records fewer than 6 strikeouts, so there is value on the under at +104. This play is good down to at least -130.

Pick: Michael King Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-118 or Better)
Tigers vs Red Sox Total Prediction
By Sean Paul
AJ Hinch will give the ball to his prized free agent acquisition, Framber Valdez. In his first season in Detroit, Valdez boasts a 3.75 ERA with a 3.10 xERA and a 3.07 FIP.
Valdez pitched great in all but one outing — and the bad one was terrible. He allowed eight runs in five innings to the Twins, but went 6+ innings with one or fewer earned runs in the other three.
Just like Valdez, Garrett Crochet's worst outing of the season came in Minnesota. The Multi-time All-Star was left for dead, allowing 10 runs in 1 2/3 innings, and his last pitch clocked in at 92.7 mph. The dip in velocity was a concern, but Crochet pointed to sequencing as the issue — not an injury or pitch tipping.
I'm inclined to believe Crochet, who now has a 7.85 ERA, but it was 3.27 before his last outing. Facing the Tigers should be a terrific match for the Red Sox lefty. He can focus on commanding his stuff and not stress about real damage against a lineup that does very little damage.
The stuff is still there, so I'll rely on the two-year sample of Crochet being a total stud.
The under hit in both of the first two games of the series. Boston could only muster one run in each game, and Detroit scored four on Saturday after posting a bagel on Friday.
With a pair of proven ace-level arms on the hill against a pair of shaky offenses, I expect another low-scoring showdown. Plus, this should be a rainy game — hopefully it gets played, but the conditions don't favor hitters.
Pick: Under 7 (-110 or Better)
Braves vs Phillies Sunday Night Baseball Best Bet
Aside from Grant Holmes' ability to pitch into the sixth inning for the Braves, the Phillies' Andrew Painter's superb command and the effectiveness of each of these teams' bullpens, there's one other important angle to consider in this game: weather.
It's going to be a chilly night in Philadelphia, with 52-degree temperatures for this NL East tilt on Sunday Night Baseball.
That sounds like pitcher-friendly conditions.
With that in mind, I'm going with the full-game Under. I'm targeting the entire game because each bullpen has been terrific for these two teams.
Bet on another low-scoring game in this series.
Pick: Under 8 (-106 or Better)
