Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched Fanatics Sports & Casino, a new all-in-one app that brings together the company’s sportsbook, online casino and prediction-markets products.
The app gives eligible customers one place to bet on sports, play casino games, trade event contracts and earn FanCash rewards. It is now available across the United States, including major markets such as California, Texas, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania.
Matt King, CEO of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, said the launch was designed to give sports fans a more complete and mobile-friendly experience.
“Fanatics Sports & Casino gives fans across America one app where the experience travels with them, from betting the game, to trading on its biggest moments, to playing casino games,” King said.
The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Fanatics will be expanding its partnership with the NFL. Fanatics also recently agreed to acquire key exchange and clearinghouse assets from BGC Group. The move was made to advance its growing prediction-markets platform, Fanatics Markets, which launched in May.
King adds that the app should create a more connected gaming experience by allowing users to access multiple products through one account and one FanCash balance.
What Is Fanatics Sports & Casino?
Fanatics Sports & Casino combines three Fanatics Betting and Gaming products in one mobile app:
- Fanatics Sportsbook, which is available in 23 states and Washington, D.C.
- Fanatics Casino, which operates in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.
- Fanatics Markets, the company’s federally regulated event-contracts platform, which is available in 22 states and four U.S. territories.
The app adjusts based on the customer’s location. That means a user traveling between states may see different available options depending on local laws and product availability.
For example, a Fanatics customer in Pennsylvania may be able to access the Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino. If that same customer travels to a state without regulated online casino gaming, the app can tailor the experience to show the products available in that jurisdiction.
Fanatics Sportsbook Remains a Major Part of the New App
The Fanatics Sportsbook is at the center of the new platform. Fanatics describes it as the fastest-growing sportsbook in the U.S., and the product is now offered in more than 20 states along with Washington, D.C.
Sports bettors can use the Fanatics Sports & Casino app to place wagers on professional and college sports, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, tennis and more. The unified app is intended to make it easier for customers to move between sports betting, casino gaming and event trading without maintaining separate accounts.
The launch also expands Fanatics’ effort to build a sports-focused gaming ecosystem around its broader merchandise, collectibles and fan-engagement business.
Fanatics Casino Available in Four States
Fanatics Casino is currently available to eligible users in:
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Michigan
- West Virginia
The online casino product offers digital casino games for players in states where online casino gaming is legal and regulated. Availability can change by state because online casino rules differ across the country.
By placing Fanatics Casino inside the Fanatics Sports & Casino app, the company is giving customers a single destination for multiple forms of regulated gaming. Users no longer need separate apps to access Fanatics’ sportsbook, casino and prediction-market offerings.
FanCash Connects Betting, Casino Play and Fanatics Rewards
One of the biggest features of the new Fanatics Sports & Casino app is its connection to FanCash and the broader Fanatics ONE loyalty program.
FanCash is the company’s rewards currency. According to Fanatics, customers can earn FanCash when they place sports bets, trade eligible event contracts or play casino games through the app.
Those rewards can be used across the Fanatics ecosystem, including on sports merchandise, jerseys, collectibles, trading cards and products from brands such as Mitchell & Ness.
That connection gives Fanatics a different approach from many traditional gambling operators. A customer could place a Sunday football parlay, play Fanatics Casino games or trade on a sports-related event, then use earned FanCash toward official team gear or collectibles.
Existing Customers Can Update Their Apps
Current users of Fanatics Sportsbook, Fanatics Casino and Fanatics Markets can access the combined experience through an app update.
Fanatics said existing account information, account funds, FanCash balances and Fanatics ONE status will carry over into the new app. Customers should not need to create a new account to use Fanatics Sports & Casino.
The app is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
